I have seen a lot of questions regarding the same and today. I will give you my honest opinion for this question. I have divided the comparison is five criteria which are mentioned below

1.Mileage

Let’s compare Activa Vs Jupiter, in terms of Mileage Honda claims 60 plus Kmpl which is ARAI tested mileage, in actual conditions Honda Activa 5G can give you up to 50 Kmpl, but it depends on road situation.

Now let’s talk about Jupiter so TVS claims 63 KMPL. It can give you the mileage between 50-55 KMPl which is much better as compared to Activa 5G. As of now the mileage figure which I am giving you are collected from the users. In my experience, there are less issues in fuel efficiency in TVS Jupiter as compared to Activa 5G.

2.Price

In terms of price there is not a big difference in price but Jupiter’s base model is cheaper than the Activa 5G standard.

3.Power

In terms of power Activa 5G comes with 109.19 CC engine which produces 8Ps of power. Jupiter comes with a 109.7 CC engine which produces 8.2 PS which is more than Honda Activa 5G. But in my experience I felt than low end that means when you start your vehicle you feel more power in Activa 5G from beginning. But in Jupiter low end is not as powerful as Activa but once you achieve 25 KMPL you can’t feel difference there in both scooters. Now due to this difference in performance in low end Jupiter gives you much better mileage.

4.Durability

In terms of durability both scooters are performing good. Yeah I know Honda is more trusted brand in terms of durability but in my experience you don’t have to worry about durability in both scooter. Both scooter are gaining equal trust in durability.

5.After sales service

In this point Activa 5G beats Jupiter because of Honda service, I am not telling you that Jupiter is bad in this criteria because in my experience TVS is also offering good services but not as good as Honda. If you are from urban area you don’t find any issue in both scooters.

6.Design

In this criteria, If I were you, I chose Jupiter which looks younger as compared to Activa 5G which offering you the same looks from its second generation. Jupiter is also not too good but offers fresh looks as compared to Activa 5G.

7.Parts Availability

In this criteria Honda both scooters are popular in their segment so you don’t need to worry about it, you may comment you experience here in the comment box below.

8.Comfort

There is still old suspension in Honda Activa 5G which cannot offer you great experience. Jupiter comes with Telescopic suspension in front and gas charged mono suspension in back which offers you great comfort.

Conclusion

In my opinion if you want great mileage with comfort so go for TVS Jupiter. But if you want great resale value then go for Activa 5G, and the Activa always dominates the market with highest percent of sales in scooters segment in India.
