Activa 6G Review
Here we are going to discuss about all new Honda Activa 6G, as you know it is one of the best scooter in terms of sales and It is a trendsetter in India for scooter segment. Activa is one of the best option, if you ate planning for a reliable scooter, so let’s start with all features and specifications
Engine
Here you get 110 cc engine where Honda used a term Enhanced Smart Power (ESP) which generates 8 PS power and 9 Nm of torque which is quite impressive because after seeing the launch of Honda Activa 125 BS6 (power detuned to 8.2Ps from 8.52 PS), I thought the power can be detuned due to BS6 complaint engine, but Thanks to Honda who heard my thought.
The engine produces decent power and torque, Honda also claims better fuel efficiency in this engine, but I am not pretty sure about this as I haven’t checked it yet.
Looks
In terms of looks it remains the same looks as its predecessor, minor changes are there in this scooter where in front you can see some changes in the chrome garnish where the shape of this element is different, you may see the difference below
From the side view both scooters (Activa 5G & 6G) look same, but it could have been improved. We expected something new in this scooter but as of now you have to compromise with the looks. Honda doesn’t want to take risk with this scooter, usually Honda take risk with different scooters like Honda Grazia, Dio, Activa 125, where the low risk is there.
Metal Body
There are few scooters in India which comes with the full metal body and Activa 6G is one of them. It also comes with CBS (Combi-Brake-System). It ensures a reliable ride along with the three step adjustable rear suspension & equalizer. The scooter improved wheelbase with (+22 mm) & now sits on a bigger 12-inch front wheel.
To riding comfortably along increased luggage, the scooter increased floor space (+22 mm) for caring capacity with constant illumination of DC LED headlamp in the deluxe variant makes riding in rough & low speed in road during in night more convenient.
Colour and Variant: –
STANDARD and DELEUXE are the two variant & there are 6 colours (Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Black, Pearl Precious White & Matte Axis Grey Metallic) are available in ACTIVA 6G in BS-VI.
New Technical Specification: –
The major change is in suspension department in the term of technical specification. You will find Spring-Loaded hydraulics in Activa 5G. You will get telescopic front forks & 3 steps adjustable Spring-Loaded hydraulics at rear in Activa 6G. In Activa 5G you get 10-inch wheel size but in Activa 6G the front wheel size is also changed. The size of wheel is 12-inch istead of 10-inch. In Activa 5G & Activa 6G the rear wheel size in both scooters is still 10-inch. The wheelbase & floor space has increased by 22 mm & 23 mm in Activa 6G.
ACTIVA 6G New features
The LED DC headlamp is a new feature of Honda Activa 6G. Start – Stop switch & Passing Switch engine is also there. Instead of under the seat, the fuel lid is positioned externally. There is a multi-function switch for accessing external fuel lid & the under seat storage.
New Price of Activa 6G:-
