Honda Activa 6G Vs Suzuki Access 125 BS6, Detailed compare

Here we are going to compare the best scooter in India which are Honda Activa 6G vs Suzuki Access 125. Activa 6G which was the most awaited scooter in its segment. The other one is Suzuki Access 125 Bs-VI, which is one of the best scooter in terms of ride quality.

Here we will compare both scooters in many criteria’s like looks, engine, performance, practicality etc. First of all let’s talk about looks

Looks

Activa 6G

In terms of looks Honda Activa 6G launched with some changes but not too much. You get chrome garnish at the front which was also there in 5G but the shape has been changed. From the back it again looks same, some minimal changes are there. As you know I don’t say something wrong about looks, because everyone choice is different so you should decide whether you like it or not.

Access 125 BS-VI

In Suzuki Access 125 BS6 you get same look as its predecessor, but you may recognize it from its headlamp. From the side and back you can’t find difference. The only difference from the back is External fuel lid, which differentiate them.

Engine-

In Honda Activa 6G you get 110cc engine which produces 7.68 PS power and 8.79 Nm of torque which is decent but less than Activa 5G, where you were getting 7.99 PS power. But you can’t feel the difference. As it is BS6 complaint engine so here you can’t find carburetor here. Now you get Fuel injected engine in this scooter. In the ride quality it offers makkhan ride, smoothness & refinement levels are increase as it is fuel injected engine.

When we talk about Access 125 so here you get 125 CC engine which is more powerful and produces 8.7 Ps power and 10 Nm of torque which is more than Activa 6G. If you ride both the scooters so can feel more power in Access 125 BS6. In terms of ride quality, it is now butter smooth scooter and you can’t find any problem in this scooter. The engine of this scooter is also durable but not as Activa 6G which is most trusted scooter in its segment.

Suspension

In terms of suspension both scooters are performing very well as both scooter offers telescopic suspension at the front. In rear you get better suspension which makes you ride comfortable. In the previous version of the Activa you were getting dated suspension (Spring loaded hydraulic suspension) which is now changed in Activa 6G.

LED Headlamp

Both scooters offer LED but in Suzuki Access 125 BS6 you get Led headlamp as standard. In Honda Activa 6G you get LED headlamp setup in deluxe variant which cost more.

External fuel filling

Both scooters offer external fuel filling. But I have seen one problem with Suzuki Access 125 which is the opening of fuel lid is difficult because you have to insert keys at the back where in Honda Activa 6G you can operate it from the front, which is more convenient.

Meter Console

In Activa 6G you don’t have any option for digital meter in any variant, which is shocking news for us because in Activa 5G you were getting digital meter console option in its deluxe variant. God knows why they removed it from the Activa 6G.

In Access 125 you get semi Digital meter console which offer decent information and also offers eco mode to get better mileage. So in terms of Meter console Accces 125 is much better option as compared to Honda Activa 6G.

Mileage

In terms of Mileage you get 45-50KMPL mileage from the Activa 6G and you get 42-45 Kmpl from the Suzuki Access 125, which is decent in its segment, but you get more power in Access 125 bS6. Both manufactures offer great mileage in the advertisement but they are tested in ideal condition so can get the same mileage as mentioned by the both manufacturer.

Under Seat Storage

In terms of under seat storage Access beats Activa 6G by giving 22.6 lts Under seat storage where Activa 6G offers 18.3 ltrs of under seat storage. But you can’t fit the full size helmet in both the scooter.  Normal size helmet can be fitted inside the under seat storage.

Breaking

In terms of breaking Suzuki Access 125 has disc brake option which is not standard but you can get this by paying additional. In the Honda Activa 6G You can’t get disc break option in Activa 6G in any variant. Both scooter offer combined breaking as standard which makes you feel safe.

Price

Now let’s compare both scooters in terms of pricing so Suzuki Access 125 BS-VI price is starting from 64800 rupees, where Honda Activa 6G is a little bit cheaper, starts from 63912 rupees. Both scooters justify the pricing because both scooters offer much at their price. I know the price is high due to bS-VI rules and regulation so you have to pay much more.

Activa 6G vs Access

In my opinion both scooters are the best scooter and offer decent specs, so if you want powerful scooter so you should go for Access 125 but if you want best in call part availability and after sale service so you should go for Honda Activa 6G. In Suzuki Access you get more power and Digital meter console. One more thing is alloy wheels which are only available in Access 125 and you can’t get this option in Activa 6G.
