TVS Jupiter BS6 Review with Pros & cons

As you know the figures of TVS Jupiter has been disclosed by the TVS so let’s have a look on its specification and review. Don’t forget that we have already reviewed this scooter previously so we can discuss about it in deep. In this blog we will also compare this scooter with its competitors.

Engine

Here you get 110 CC scooter, which offers 7.4 Ps power, previously it was offering 8.2 PS so now you get less torque in this scooter. When we talk about Torque so you get 8.4 Nm torque. The torque numbers are decent in this segment. If we compare it with Honda Activa so you get 7.68 PS power in Honda Activa 6G, which is also decreased in this BS6 engine.

Looks

In terms of looks, you get same looks in this scooter, as you have seen previously in BS4 variant. The only difference which you can find easily in this scooter is chrome muffler, where you can see BS6 badge over there. Now two additional colors are available in this scooter.

Changes in Under Seat Storage

Now the under seat storage of this scooter is increased and now you get 21 ltrs, which is quite impressive in this segment. The positioning of the battery has been changed and now it kept at the front compartment of this scooter. Due to this battery placement the overall storage is noticeable increment can be seen.

Headlamp

 Now you get LED Headlamp as standard in this scooter. Where in Activa 6G you get this option in Deluxe variant. The overall visibility of this headlamp is enough and you will not struggle in Night.

Mobile Charger Placement

The position of mobile charger is also changed, you can find it at the front and now it is more convenient. At the front you can find front utility box and it can be used to keep your phone inside this during charging.

Mileage

Now TVS offers better mileage in this scooter. According to company now you get 15% more mileage. You can expect 50-55 KMPL from this scooter, but it depends in riding conditions.

Suspensions

In terms of comfort you get best in class comfort in this scooter. TVS Jupiter offers Telescopic suspension at the front as same as offered previously but now the suspension quality has been improved.

You get 3 step adjustable suspension which absorb potholes and shock as well. I rode this scooter for 4 days and I felt the overall suspension has been changed, because it offers better comfort as compared to Jupiter BS4.

Meter Console

Here you get analogue console, as you have seen in its previous model. Here you can find Eco & power indicator to get proper mileage.

Pricing

The pricing of this scooter is very competitive and starts from Rs 61449. The price of this scooter is very attractive and makes it cheaper than Honda Honda Activa 6G.

Conclusion

In our opinion TVS Jupiter is a great scooter in terms of price, features & specifications & it is value for money scooter. When we compare it with Honda Activa 6G so you may found that Jupiter can compete with it. Yeah I accept the pricing of this scooter is now increased but it happened with all BS6 vehicles.
