Design

Even though there is not much difference in looks than its BS4 version, but it still looks sporty and modern. This Bs6 comes with all new design LED headlight setup which looks quite impressive. And we also tested its visibility in night and found it very good. Overall it is a good looking bike in this segment.

Ride And Handling

The second advantage of this bike is its ride and handling quality. This offers absolutely great balance of ride and handling, and we believe you also gonna like it when you will ride it. This also offers comfortable ride because suspensions used here are very good and performs very well. So you can go for long rides without thinking fatigue.

Increased fuel efficiency

As company claims with new BS6 engine it is expected that fuel efficiency will increase. If you ride in a good manner then you can easily get 45 to 50kmph of mileage.

Features

This bike comes with features like Bluetooth connectivity, race tuned FI, Glide through technology (GTT) and duel channel ABS with RLP (rear wheel lift-off protection) control.

Here you get fully digital instrument cluster and you can connect your phone with the help of Bluetooth. This shows you information’s like turn by turn navigation, race telemetry, call alert, sms alert, lean angle mode and low fuel warning. And it also displays features like top speed recorder, 0-60 timer, lap timer etc.

Cons

Vibrations at high speed

Don’t take it as a big issue, we did not find any vibration issues in its lower and mid range. It performs very well in lower and mid range, and also its high end performance is good but we found little bit vibration on handles and foot pads during high speed.

Price

Dual channel ABS variant of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is priced at Rs1,28,500 and single channel ABS variant is priced at Rs1,23,500. We think price could have been more competitive for getting advantage over other key players.
